Where: The Venue 1550 at the Daystar Center, 1550 S. State Street
Retired pro tennis player Tony Wendice (Ray Milland) discovers that his wife Margot (Grace Kelly) is having an affair with crime novelist Mark Halliday (Robert Cummings). Tony blackmails an old acquaintance, C. A. Swan (Anthony Dawson) into murdering Margot, but the plan backfires. Kelly manages to kill her attacker, but finds herself on trial for murder. Dial M for Murder (1954) was Alfred Hitchcock’s first collaboration with Kelly, who soon became the director’s prototypical cool blond and one of the biggest stars of the 1950s.
